Phun Thomas & SMPL SMPL shares their composition ‘Floorfilla’ on Bandcamp

Lithuania’s electronic music artists Phun Thomas and SMPL SMPL has joined their forces for a brand new composition ‘Floorfilla’ to give it away on Bandcamp for the first 200 downloads just before New Years Eve. The duo created a deep Dub-Techno composition to start the upcoming year properly with an intention to share more music. Stay tuned for the separate debut albums from each of the artists in 2018.

Phun Thomas is a top notch electronic music composer and producer, who goes deep into House and Techno or combines it together with a wide variety of other electronic music genres.

Phun Thomas might seem as a relatively new name in global dancefloors, but don’t get mistaken! Under it lies more than a decade of mind-boggling music production experience and thousands of performances filled with dance lovin’ smiling faces. Beautiful results has been achieved while working with the Godfather of Techno Kevin Saunderson and his family members, holding residency at Pacha, taking part in the legendary Space Ibiza 25th Anniversary and sharing stage with Underworld, Eddie Amador, Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), James Lavelle (Unkle), John Digweed or Gus Gus just to name a few. Quality over quantity. Recently released his music on Runemark Records also upcoming ‘It’s The Sun EP’ is on it’s way to be released on DTL Records in January. Currently actively working on his debut album which is going to be published in the upcoming year.

SMPL SMPL is not that simple. A young artist schooled to master saxophone according to strict classical education by globally renowned lecturers has already proven his skills in numerous competitions although the discovery of passion for electronic music production now seems to have taken over a large part of his life.

What started 15 years ago in a musical school led him to the sound he is perfecting today. As his curiosity to music began to grow beyond classical arrangements he followed his journey through different genres. Avant-garde, Jazz as well as Contemporary Classical music have made a big influence, while electronic music culture is what fuels the inspiration.

Currently, in production, upcoming album is to unveil the complex mixture of experiences in a form of SMPL SMPL.
